Redlands is registered as a green builder with the Virginia Sustainable Building Network, which promotes environmentally sound Green Building practices for Virginia. These building designs, methods, and materials save energy costs, reduce waste and promote recycling, reduce environmental impacts and exposure to unhealthy substances, strengthen local economies, and contribute to an enhanced quality of life.

We are also EarthCraft and Energy Star builders which requires a higher standard for appliances, materials and building methods than code. That translates into a quality, well built home that is comfortable, healthy, protects the environment and reduces utility bills.

Charlie Carter is also a LEED Accredited Professional that has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building and the LEED Rating System , staying current on new technologies and best building practices. LEED certified homes have been third-party inspected, performance-tested and verified as truly green homes and buildings.
