Radford University

At the heart of campus are a spacious lawn and a fountain where students gather. Preston and Martin halls are located on the east side of the lawn along with Young and Whitt. Heth and Russell halls are on the south end, while Walker and the Main Quad of residence halls border the lawn to the south and west. Muse, Lucas, McConnell Library, the Alumni Gardens and Reed and Curie halls are to the north.

RU takes great pride in its open green spaces framed by colorful flowers and well-maintained landscaping. The vast expanse of lawn near the fountain is the center of many student activities throughout the year. One annual event is Club Fair, where students can meet representatives from RU’s clubs and organizations and area businesses.

Fact: Muse Hall, Radford’s tallest building, marks the westernmost point of campus. It is one of the university’s 15 residence halls and houses more than 900 students on its 13 floors and one of RU’s food courts.
