The Virginia Weatherization Training Center was created in response to the national demand for skilled workers capable of weatherization, retrofitting, and building performance activities.
We are providing training and certification in both weatherization and residential practices at community colleges across the state of Virginia. The VCCS is committed to serving the needs of the community in the exciting new industry of home weatherization and home performance contracting.
We have training and educational classes serving individuals interested in career opportunities, contractors seeking additional training, and homeowners with an eye for saving money. We offer quick-delivery training classes to prepare for industry certification as well as extended commitment approaches through career studies certificates & technical studies degree programs.
