Soupbone Creative Painted 2 Hokie Birds

The Blacksburg Partnership presented Gobble de Art, a campaign to increase interest in and awareness of Blacksburg. The initiative was designed to bring visitors into town while fostering an appreciation for the visual arts and the local art community. Gobble de Art featured seventy-five fiberglass Hokie Bird statues that were decorated and painted by regional artists and Virginia Tech art alumni. The birds were sponsored by local and regional businesses and prominently displayed throughout the town of Blacksburg.
